I would never consider this challenge…and nobody asked me to either.🙂. Just curious how you would approach it? It’s right beside a busy 4 lane street across from a high school. It broke off in the storm Thursday night. Here it is, Monday. I drove by Friday and was afraid of it falling on my car. Since then thousands of cars have gone by. I am guessing the breaks are about 25-30 feet up. Maybe 8-12” diameter at the break.

By myself? I'd be leaning towards two ropes. One at the butt, and one at the tip. Free the limb, and alternately lower each line to keep it from going in the road. That's probably wrong, and more work than necessary, but it would be pretty safe.

Looks like a city tree to me so they can deal with it. Hazard solved lol.

If I were to deal with it I’d call the city and block off one lane set up the lift and make it rain limbs. Probably less than an hour. Maybe hour and a half.
