I think I heard over 90% of peeps in plane crashes survive.

Stats went down on the only one I ever saw. Not the accident but the aftermath. Crashed right into our logging block, 0% survivors. A small floatplane.

A friend and I were first responders on a 2 seater Cessna crash in the 80's...both dead...one under a log, the other just out in the woods. The plane was still hung about 40 feet up in the pine trees. Only plane crash I have seen.

It's a hobby/career I wouldn't pursue.
