Yellow water lily ( Nuphar lutea )is blooming in Saint Petersburg.

Hydrangea and "golden balls" are blooming. I planted this hydrangea in the fall of 2023. I think I added too much fertilizer and the hydrangea buds are too heavy!

Not blooming...but the buds are swelling on the osoberry, which is our earliest blooming native shrub hereabouts. Usually happens in February, blooms a few weeks after that. Crazy weather.
