Same here, but you never can really tell without being there. But it looked odd to me too.

Looks like a failed redirect???

Purple understand redorects do certain things without fully understanding the vector forces.


I had a contact climber redirecting through maple leads, but all leaned the same way. I had to keep telling him to go smaller.

One fork then failed, but without a damaging consequence.

I think what he was thinking is the redirect was just that but the line angles made it his primary rigging point taking the load of the drop.
