Unusual Rope Coiling

Does anyone do this? I don't think I'll start...

A good way for butterfly coiling. This turns into a strap on rope-backpack for hiking into climb, or moreso, for a walk off down to your backpack. Not good for treework.
 
I do a variation of that. Mostly for rock climbing......I'll do it sometimes for tree work if we are moving on steep hillside and I don't want to mess with rope bag.
 
Used to do something like that with rappel ropes while in the army, just for storage, still had to uncoil it and feed it into a sandbag when it was to be thrown over a building or out a helicopter.
 
I coil that way all the time except I call it a lap coil and don't do that funky cross over that guy does.
 
yeah, i do a different motion but end up with the same type of coil. i only wrap one end though, no need to haul bare rope around on my back.
