Tree felling vids

Thanks. Sean I thought I'd better play it safe with the bowLine. Was going to set a clove but thought it too controversial after last time. Can of worms that one.

I don't see where respect ties into any of it. If someone does a crane removal, be it smooth or rough, I can't see where any sort of respect factor is involved.

?

Ha! Chris, you caught me! Man, I just re-read my post..... uhhhhgggg... swaggering idiocy is the kindest description I could give to it. HA!!!... Just as if anyone out there is waiting on pins and needles to get inbred Jed's approval.... HA!!! Man!... We need more people like Reg who are out there to give people a laugh, and fewer swaggering, inferiority complex ridden idiots like myself, who only want to find fault with someone else's work so that we could possibly feel better about our own. Ooooohhh, I'm an idiot.... I repent boys.... Feel like an ass. :|:

With the power of the APTA, you can certainly come to the bottom end of the throw line. The sleeper feature of the design is when you want more drag than the traditional cube will allow, to prevent your line/ line container from being pulled out of reach off the ground by a rocketing throw line.

Some tandem marketing with the APTA..."Like a parachute behind a dragster!".

More drone footage, from Aussi

O.K. For all of you little boys who don't yet know who Wes Burns is... Time to get High Climbers and Timber Fallers. I think it might be o.k. to hoot and holler, if you're chunking down seven foot diameter redwood logs with an 090, and a gigantic Cannon.

Some of the most beautiful photographs I have ever seen in my life.

Sounds soo bad ass! Hahaha. Man to go back in time I would.

It's been posted - yesterday, I think.

Amazing idea. Wouldn't it be incredible to go back to the misery whip (cross-cut hand saw) days for a taste of some REAL old growth.

You know... They say that the Firs were even taller than the largest standing Redwoods now. George Cray fell one up in Vancouver that they measure on the ground at over 400'. Now THAT'S a pig!!!

Oh, man Pete (and Butch) that guy's a comedic genius. Guy's amazing. Wish I could think of stuff like that.

One of the best rigging vids ive seen on the net, from anonymous in UK,
