Maybe I missed it, but what happened to him, haven't seen him here or @ TB in a long time?

I just saw something I had printed awhile ago from his website, mytreelessons.com, and it got me wondering.

He dissapered from here a couple years back, no idea why. Maybe cause we all didn't read his longer posts but that didn't mean we didn't like him

I am not sure. No one ever had it out with Kenny as far as I can remember. He's always welcome to pop back in and confuse me.

He had to change careers and just got completely outta tree work. He had to change because of two car wrecks he was in that pretty much crippled him. I feel sorry for the fella, myself. Part of the reason he wrote like he did was all the meds he was on. He was a heavily sedated fellow for a long time.

I've been printing a knot book PDF he let me download from him years back and got me wondering where he could be. He was a good guy to have around for sure.

He was here when I first started hanging out. I liked him and respected his intulectual aproach to tree work and rigging. I PMed him about demoing a Wraptor early on as I wanted his feedback but he replied that he was getting out of tree work:( Sad fo sure

It was sometimes a challenge to decipher his long-winded ramblings and techno-babble musings, but I too miss the little guy.

Yep, what Butch said, he got hurt and changed line of work, sold most of his stuff to Guy. I wound up with most of his books.
Difficult to read sometimes but he knew his stuff better than most.

I can see having to sell your gear as one last way to make money from an occupation you can no longer do but it seems a shame that he had to sell his books as well. I'm a bit of a hoarder though, and I tend to place value on things that others probably don't.

It seemed like Kenny was really into the physical side of climbing, having been a gymnast when younger. His photos always showed him looking lean and mean. Car wrecks....:(

And the worst part was he was just recovering from the first wreck when BAM! He was in another. I forget the details, but I think it was supposed to be the other driver's fault.

I always liked Kenny too, but I think that he is one of the reasons I have to wear glasses sometimes. Wore out my eyes reading his postings over and over to try and understand them.
