The Official Work Pictures Thread

I like the snow retention fences on the roofs and the size of your downpipes.
One could almost think you were used to getting some snow in winter:)

Had a consultant in yesterday to do a Picus test on a Horse Chestnut yesterday, client is desperate to get rid of the tree but I don't think it's going to go her way somehow.

Looks like a lot of inclusion, I know on AT its heresy but surrounded by houses like that you be better off felling and replanting.

I think it's actually two separate trees. It's a stoopid place for a tree, but it's one of a handful of large prominent trees in this village, and the TO is unable to give consent for removal without strong evidence, hence the picus.

1 feet=0,3048 m x 60 = 18.3 meters.

My tree was 34 meters:P

Nevertheless of wires you have more
Height makes rigging easier. That's amateur knowledge. Ill rig out a tall tree any day over a tree with targets 8 feet under the limbs. Act like you know.

Has the Chestnut moth made it's happy way to Britain yet?
Or the bacterial cancer that is killing them off here.

Horse chestnuts are in trouble right now.
