Cory, I watched quite a bit of it last night.
He has some very valid points and techniques but I am afraid I will call BS on anyone who claims to have had 200 fights and never lost.
Especially a Karate guy from the 70’s. I am not saying it is all BS but I ask why did he stop at 200 and how come he never lost?
Even the best guys lose a couple of times.
I still think people like him are still living in the Chick Norris Hollywood era.

I did a bit more of a lookup on him.
According to Wiki he lost in a Muay Thai fight and also has around 60-70 fights.
I don’t doubt he was a good fighter though but a bit like Steven Segal. His story my have been massaged a bit when he became and actor.

Yup. Woulda been fun to see Bones and Tom scrap but oh well I'll settle for seeing Tom scrap whomever.
On Saturday, ufc in Baku, there was a monster war/fight of the night and it outshined all other matchups such that they got 100k$ each instead of the usual 50k.

I wrestled on my HS's inaugural team, I wasn't very good but had alot of fun. Was at my HS 50th reunion last weekend, was fun to see the team captain there as well as our former HW who had slimmed down massively and looked great. Was saying to Dennis the captain that I wish I knew then what I know now, I would have been so much better even with the same physical ability.

Did you watch it? I've been holding back on buying PPVs except for the best cards so I didn't see it. I read about it and it spoke of total domination via wrestling yet lotta peeps said it was also boring bc few to no attempts to finish were made. And neither fighter had a mark on them at end of fight.
But in bigger ufc news, you probably heard Paramount made a huge 7 year/7 billion dollar/year deal for ufc broadcast rights and part of the new plan in no more PPVs....At 80$/shot, I'm a big fan of the new provider!

This weekend's UFC main event was insane-Mexican DiegoLopes vs brazilian Jean Silva. It lasted 2 rounds. Silva is an absolute beast but his total self confidence led to some sloppiness when he was closing in on a finish and he got nuked by a spinning back elbow which seemed to almost destroy his thick skull.
Below is a vid that popped up about one of the greatest russian wrestlers ever, a guy I never heard of named Adam Saitiev. I got interested when I read that in the Olympics he moved up a weight class and beat Yoel Romero who is a freak of nature and was a top UFC fighter and who last weekend, at age 48, destroyed some guy in BKFC (bare knuckle)
