He always hated traffic, he was sure we'd get one some day.

His two lane highway is now six lanes with a motorway next to it with another six sometimes eight lanes.

Sikorsky Sky Crane. There is a crew that used to come up here every fire season that had a couple of them. Got to take Kat and the kids on a tour in one. I used to feed those guys really well at one of the restaurants in town that had a motel attached. So they would let me bring the kids out to sit in one. Cool machines.

Former sikorsky, Erickson air crane bought the type certificate and builds them now. They are built right here in the Rogue valley. Just went public about a month ago.

They developed this snorkel where the can load 2600 gallons of water in under a minute. They were practicing this 200 yards down stream from where we were fishing in the Rogue river a week ago

One of those sucked a pond dry right up the street from me. It was wild watching the silt hit the fire when we had the Telegraph fire here. Like they were down to only mud.

We had a fire at the edge of town a few years back and they dumped a load of mud right on a million dollar home! Normally they try to only dump water on homes but this was moving fast! I saw it when I got called to consult on the trees, whutta mess!

I believe this is the ship we had here. Specially designed tank.. I believe it could dump from four different sections. They could also use it for the gel and foam as well.
