technical help for camera video

I need some technical help. I took a short video with my digital camera today and when I played it in quicktime it played sideways. Can I change it now or did I mess up when I took the video? It's an MOV file.

there is software that will correct that, gimme a sec and I will see if I can find an option for you.

edit. Sorry, the software I am finding with a google search of 'video converter' and 'video perspective converter' arent giving me the options I am after. This question has been asked and answered before, I think one of the other board members will be able to help you out.

Thanks for trying Paul. I went through all of the tools in the quicktime (I just have the free version) and I couldn't find anything.
