Yeah, that happens a lot here. No cell reception so I gotta write down the info and run it when I get home. You end up losing a little more money on the deal and swiped charges get charged 0.25% less than keyed in charges.

because of this thread, I decided last nite to download the app and use mine if needed. i took a sample swipe on one of my other cc's. took 3 hits for it to work but its no worse than when i go somewhere and the clerk takes that many or more on her machine.

not sure how much ill use it but at least ill have it as an option.
