Some kind of rope grab?

I have had these for a few years, got them with a bunch of random stuff from a guy I was helping move.

Anyone familiar with them? They obviously aren't real modern, they aren't painted pretty enough.

Used for fall protection mainly in industrial plants, maybe on tower work too. I have a newer one similar to that. Nothing I'd want to trust my life on.

ETA: Lad-Saf is short for Ladder Safety I guess.

Yep, that is a cable grab, not a rope grab. For fall pro, not work positioning.
