I spend about a month each year spraying herbicide and especially killing Giant Pine Weevils.
We planted 140,000 trees this fall/spring and they all need to be sprayed.

Been using all kinds of sprayers over the years with varying degrees of dissatisfaction.

We tried Stihl last year.
The price is ridiculous, but I have to say it is well worth it.
A battery last a week with 8 hour day use.
It is as comfortable as a good quality back pack.
Almost completely silent.
It is totally leak proof.................I had one full sprayer fall over in my truck. After ½ day it hadn't spilled a drop.
That is something I've never encountered in a sprayer before.
Since they don't leak at all, we've stopped using gloves when we spray insecticide.
In fact, apart from the price, I can't find anything not to like about them.
I ended up buying them for the whole company.

A 40 hour battery life is amazing!

I sprayed 70-80 gallons of herbicide this morning before work, sprayed 100 gallons Monday after work.

I wish Milwaukee made a decent 1-2 gallon sprayer to use the existing batteries I have… as it stands I use a manual pump sprayer and my assistant 😂.

Sounds similar to what we use.
The White Pine Weevil absolutely hammer landscape planted Colorado Blue Spruce here. I have seen them hit smaller native Engelmann Spruce, but they generally stick to a smaller acreage landscape.
