Did a little favor for friends early this week; a pretty red oak in their back yard had a few limbs broken out by snow/ice this winter that needed to be cleaned up. It was an easy climb, and the baby back ribs and irish whisky afterwards made for a pleasant evening .

I'm glad to be able to still put it together, now and then. Old guys rule .

Nice job .There certainly is a difference in oak trees from those grown in the open to those in say my woods that are over 100 feet tall with the first limb about 45 feet .To add to that I didn't even know red oak grew on the west coast .
