Find a hard worker, then pay them well to make them stay with you.
That is how we do it.

As Butch said, a dedicated rear-mount is best. More likely to get a 60' Working height under CDL weight, 26001+.

Good point, but I wouldn't even look at a unit without air brakes. The one I am looking at is 33000# GVWR. I have held my Class A CDL for 6 years and plan on being the only driver/operator of this unit for the foreseeable future. I have my USDOT number and am a "qualified" inspector.

The real expenses as you mentioned will be the Payment obviously, Maintenance/Repairs, Registration, IFTA, Auto Insurance, Damage/Loss Insurance. Anything else?

Definitely a damn expensive sawzall.
 
I guess in Oregon I report quarterly anyway but not crossing state lines saves me a bunch of paperwork. I've been asked to work Cali but it's a whole nother licence, bond etc and I stay busy here for now
