Does anyone have any recommendations for a good site in which one can upload and store photos to?

Can you do batch uploads? Or do you need to do them one at a time?

photobucket has batch uploads. And the free service is great until you one day cross the invisible line of 'too much usage', then everything seems to slow down slightly and they try to sell you on upgrading to the pay service. But then I'm sure they all do that.

I have hundreds of photos in my photo bucket.

Never made it across the quite visible line in either storage or bandwidth.

I guess it's just me. At first when the online photo suites came I was reluctant, but I look at it different today. While the potential for misuse is there the benefit far exceeds it.

I just think it would be easier to share photos rather than uploading to here.

Ive decided to go with Google's Picasa. Photobucket was too slow to upload and flickr requires a yahoo account.

Gerry- you have your own website, why not just host them there?

yahoo! photos became Flickr awhile back, and I think it sucks.
