My July 6, in pictures.

I returned Thursday evening from a week away, during which I shot some 4000 images, of family, wildlife, and kiteboarding at the Gorge--along with awesome fireworks display, paddle boarding, and windsurfing.....and skin........Great time!

Instead of working yesterday, I took advantage of the great weather and shot another 800 images, most at a couple favorite wetland sites.

Here's some of the best, in slide show form. I'll post some individual shots later, but now I'm off to do bids and more photography.

I got my sharpest and best shots yet of a great blue heron on a fishing expedition. And scored a couple barely acceptable sharp images of a butterfly in flight, and some more of a swallow, another real challenge, the way they fly.
