James River Flood behind my house

Although '08 was about 1' higher this is still a bunch of water rolling into Table Rock. The first pic is about 5pm the second was at lunch about noon. TR came up 10' as of this morning. The water is the valley is covering our corn we drilled 1 1/2 - 2 weeks ago.

After the tsunami, my conception of being high enough has changed drastically. Of course it is the sea, and not a river.

Apparently, some rivers in Missouri are over the top.

The river crested in 08 about 1' higher. That was the 100yr flood. The river would need 30-40 feet before getting in my basement. I will not say impossible, but improbable. I have got to figure the corn is in Table Rock feeding the catfish. We will have to see how much chiseled ground is gone.
