How's the splice today?

Have you tried to load it up? Hang on it in your saddle and bounce? (without the whipping)

This is a good idea always to help settle a double braid splice.

I did another Aztec splice last night and loaded it before whipping. Worked nice. Thanks for the help. (And for the original instruction at the splicing course at treestuff, Nick!)

I Made a 20' version of the Treestuff T-Rex base anchor. I used 3 brummels for each 6" link ( right ?) .Haven't decided how to finish the end yet.

splicing idea


i've a piece of rope which i want to end with an EyeSplice (no-ppe) its a 8 strand mantle with 4 strand core, does anyone have an idea?
i am familiair with double braids and 16 strands as well as oldscool 3 strands.

I would do a double braid, except for the cover into the core. Then lockstitch it good.
