How's the splice today?

I did it with about 3 fids lengths of space between my D mark on the second splice and the temp lockstitch I put in the throat of the first. I am getting pretty good at making them shorter than normal.

Very nice Nick. I wish I had younger hands and my patience of old to enjoy splicing. Probably having kids puts a tad of a hamper on it as well.

Nope, I just did my standard measurements and everything for a 7/16"/11mm line.

Make sure you taper the core before burying it, otherwise you'll never be able to pull it through. I pulled 6 strands before pulling it through.

Cheers for this. Got some in transit and might pop a splice in the end of it. I'll have a look at a standard class 1 DB for it then and make sure I taper core first.

I use an 8mm Armor-prus 4 wrap prusik, and 8mm Ocean with a VT on another Arbormaster line I climb with, never had any issues.
