Fuel line leak question.

Lol, don't sweat it if the lever isn't there. Just replace the line and try cranking it up. My bet is it fires right up. If it doesn't it'll need bleeding on the nuts by the injectors as Jim said.
 
Yeah that, if all the fuel you lose if from the hose, the filter will have enough supply to take care of that. I'd try that first
 
Is it worth changing the filter, too?

The picture is worth a thousand words, but you didn't need to pull and clean the engine.

A wise friend, diesel savvy, told me to go ahead and find where and how to prime my mini, because I Will run it out of fuel at some point. If not me, employees will help to accomplish this task.

I swapped the line out and had no issues. Started up fine. Didn't have to prime it but it is a task I want to learn how to do for the exact reason Sean mentioned. There was no lever on the transfer pump
