I've been working on our wood. We will go through 4 cords easily between 3 stove, 2 houses, where one burns regularly, 2 burn continuously most of the deep winter.
I never measure.
Thankfully, 2 have large fireboxes in the big house. One is a small fireboxfor a small house, though plenty enough to overheat the house.
I've been working on lining up some firewood volunteers for my peninsula elders in need. I think my best bet is dropping logs at people's houses and find volunteers to show up where they live. Might need a tree knocked down on site for a 2-fer.
