I replaced the worn out padding with 1' dense foam. It's twice as good now but kinda on the bulky side.

what did you glue it with?

Yup none of the sets I climbed with were bolted and that was just the rule of thumb do 'em back up.

I over-used Gorilla Glue.

Some arbo suppliers stock replacement pads...same high quality foam.
