Bridging the septic tank

Today's job was 36" fir 110'. tucked up against the back of the house with a cement path way in front of it and a septic directly in the lay. Had to negative block the tree to about 30' and then put some large logs beyond the end of the septic to keep the log raised up when I fell it.

I haven't really had a chance to try it much. It was bought for me. Seems like a nice ax though. Kinda used to using a shorter handle for knocking in wedges. but hey ! free will always do....lol

Years ago Butch I was doing a job kinda between two house. One was really nice and the other was one of those houses that was scabbed together.To make a long story short, I was rotating out some spars off a black oak when my ground man said, " Hey ! that piece pretty much disappeared into the ground" .... Umm ...ok ... I sure you can figure the rest out ...I dont make that mistake anymore...

Splits wood like crazy according to the guy who bought it for me
