That part where you jump up and catch yourself by pressing your feet against the side wall, is where a lot fail. Running up that curving ramp and jumping to catch the end to pull yourself up, is tough for shorter people. Agility is big.

Holy shit!

I found this young woman even more impressive, if that's even possible. She reminds me of a USFS Smokejumper I worked with once. A very competent tree climber and instructor...similar sized person and a total competitor.

Worth a look, I think.

I worked for a type two IC that had a daughter that was a smoke jumper.

She was so small that sometimes she would gain elevation after jumping out!
