seems like the knut is my new hitch de jour.
at least till it isn't anymore.
seems to work better than the distel.

haven't tried the VT with Armorprus yet, tho i did with the beeline to no avail.
today it was a toss up between the VT and the Knut and i went Knut.
i haven't used the XT but i'll be sure to give it a try.
i have to say, i do love finetuning hitches.

two parts you may know...
A distel can adust well sometimes without a hitch minding pulley, if you put the tail through the biner.
VT is sensitive to leg length. Are you using a fixed length cord, or tied?

i haven't tried the distel w/o a pulley.
i'll have to give that a go.
i'm using a 28" eyetoeye of armorprus.
i haven't had too much grief with a VT for my climbing line
3 wrap/3 braid
some days are better than others but i feel pretty comfortable climbing on a VT.
i'll have to try it but what can i look for with the XT?
pros/cons?
