044 compression

looking at a used one - maybe 3 years old - if I come up with a gas tank I can get the saw for little or nothing. what compression numbers are we talking if it still has plenty of life?

Also..is changing out tanks on these a royal PITA?

125psi and UP for compression, higher is obviously better) and no idea on the gas tank.

Remeber that at 125psi, it's right on the edge of death.

As a normal rule,a light hone and a set of new rings will fix low compression .Rings are relatively inexpensive .
