You know what they lick, right Jeff?:) I'm going to try telling my wife to clean the toilets and then doing the garbage disposal thing and I'll report back which is the loudest.

He's really not that bad about it! He and I most of the day together, and it's seldom he "grooms" himself like that. His mouth is usually occupied with a rawhide or a retrieving dummy.

Yeah, it's gross, but it was just for the pic. It ain't like he and I make out or anything!

I know Jeff. I assumed that the picture was for artistic expression. :) Does he retrieve? I had a great uncle who trained retrievers in his retirement. He used to use a bundle of chicken feathers wrapped with barbed wire as a retrieving dummy.

Here's a few of our Humane Society special...he's a funny dog. These were taken last weekend during the birthday celebratory coast visit for my wife's birthday.

I can't believe you make him ride in the trunk Burnham!!!! I bet he gets hot in there in the summer time.

:P

Couple of Bonnie. She's a gentle soul around people, but still a nightmare around otherdogs. At 14 1/2 and after surviving a spinal stroke the other friday i just enjoy everyday with her.

That dog-in-trunk pic is one I took at the end of a three day trip on the north side of Mt. Hood. I reckon he was really ready to get in the car and take it easy...he just hopped in when I opened it up .

Like I said, a funny dog.

We don't have kids, so as you might expect, I have a lot of dog pictures :) . These are all from backpacking in Idaho. Some have been posted before, but are all gone now...that's my excuse and I'm stickin' with it. Remember this last shot, the muddy paws?

OK, I'll stop now, thanks for indulging me ;).
