Yeah that was a friend that built it I was just his grinding, sanding holding tubing in place guy during the process. It was pretty cool to be involved in the whole thing though, we stayed up late into the evenings working on it after doing our normal jobs during the day. jp:D

Nick I would think a cabover would be awesome for LA, insane turning radius and you can haul a good amount of load in those things. jp:D

Just found out they increased the limit for a Class 3 (standard) license in Hawaii from 15,000 GVW to 18,000 GVW which means I'm legally driving my F550 now, which is a huge relief. jp:D

A lot of the 6.0 I had looked at while in the market had not been bulletproofed and had simply been replacing the egr over and over. From what I understand doing the bulletproof is not cheap.

Nick did you get ahold of the guy on the buzz about the truckcraft insert and box? That is a stupid good deal, if I were going to go insert I would jump on that thing ASAP. FWIW, Truckcraft is known to have the best dump inserts from what I've read. jp:D

Picked this truck up while I was in Cali. 2001 F550 ex-city truck with 70k. Was looking all around for the 7.3L, found a bunch of 6.0 but not being mechanically gifted I decided to steer clear. jp:D
