Cutting extra slack on leg loops for treemotion

I have had my treemotion for a year or so and I love it and I've just ignored the extra 6 inches or so from the leg loops. So has anyone cut then to be shorter?? How did you do it? I was just thinking about cutting it then burning the ends. I just don't want to cut them and they start falling...

We won't fix it if it's just the crane driving in and crushing the driveway because it can't hold the weight of it. Last week the crane dropped off the cribbing because it was to much of an incline and we crushed two out rigger pads and ruined the driveway so we will pay to have that fixed...

We have in the contract before we do any work we aren't responsible for lawn or driveway damage if it's extreme we will fix it. We try to use ply wood if we know the driveway looks cheap or poorly built.

Yes exactly . Say you're picking half a pine and you done have thick enough wood in the top it's around 8 inches . Half hitch there and have the shackle lower around more secure wood. That way the crane has more control if the pick. And that crane has crushed well over a dozen driveways this...

If you are doing pines with heavy weighted on one side . You will either have to half hitch the pick high so the crane has more control or use a secondary sling to pick up one of the branches . Leaving that secondary on the looser side so it's not supporting the entire tree but just enough to...

The RR is pretty good ddrt. Just have to push it back in place if it twists some. And when we toss all the wing weights on their not even an inch in clearance when the crane rotates over the body. Marques had that new leighber and that crazy is insane . It has a ridiculous feature of the horn...

Treated my self to a early Christmas gift

I had a spool of hitch cord and I had a map gas torch out one morning to burn the ends after cutting a section out . Well my ground guy thought it would be a good idea to put the torch in my climbing gear bag . 2 hours later I'm driving down Rte 3 and see smoke coming out of the chip truck side...

Marques has that big ass liebherr they were using I think without their jib it's 160 . We have 147 without our job. We also have a grove 70 ton but don't bring that out much. It's crazy to think about picking 4k at 115 feet away with the grove though . So it makes jobs go pretty smooth. Plus...
