    How'd it go today?

Sorry to hear you had Covid, Cory. I had Lymes about 2 months after Covid and they had many overlapping symptoms. The worst were the rigors (temperature of 104 but so cold you violently convulse/shiver to the point of extreme abdominal pain but so lethargic you can’t pull the covers up. I was...

    The Biking Thread

I was on an 'around town' ride a few weeks ago early one Saturday, came upon some Open Space I hadn't seen before, plenty of do's and don'ts posted buy none re biking so I rode in, was thinking 'yeah I see why people like this!'. In the middle somewhere found a sign that did prohibit biking but...

Day 2 of the oak fun. Neighbor wanted the wood if it was light enough. So we ripped it and quartered it. Went well and we did not have to move the wood once it was in pieces.

Have I mentioned I eat poison ivy?

I kind of like the idea, but the problem is I'm good at avoiding it, and don't get it bad. I feel like if I try to eat it, I'll just frig myself up for dubious gain.

Have I mentioned I eat poison ivy?

Start small. Now that I think of it, Butch used to mention it, I think he used to take homeopathic PI pills

How'd it go these past 2 weeks? Well, work is insanely slow for this time of year, I went to Atlanta to visit wife's family and to see Kid Rock in a huge field with 30-50k other rednecks, Kid Rock was freakinggggggg totally awesome, met a bunch of cool peeps at the show, came home and had covid...

I did climb on that rope. That union was solid and backed up by many others in the back on the tree. Once up I switched to a tip tie.

Have I mentioned I eat poison ivy?

I’ve heard of this but it sounded outlandish. Maybe there’s something to it but I find that hard to believe. But, I’m open. Perhaps,Cory, you are among the small minority who remains unaffected by urushiol oil.

Have I mentioned I eat poison ivy?

Been doing it on and off for probably 3 years. It tastes like kale. I've had no ill effects and rarely get a rash from work. I'm the guy who handles the PI into the chipper if it needs to be fed manually cuz my guys are both very allergic. Anyway here is a big article on it from WSJ, idk if...

Bear trap here is generic for any kind of a man killing mess, tree wise. I always thought it came from dead fall type traps, I dunno.

...or feelings. Iceland has strict laws that govern the naming of children to preserve the country's linguistic and cultural heritage. These laws require that all names follow Icelandic grammar and pronunciation rules, and be compatible with the Icelandic language. ***Produced by Google's AI***

Dedicated stump grinder vs skid steer with grinder attachment? Pros and Cons?

Access and lawn damage with the skid steer. I've taken the duals off of the Carlton to get through gates many times. I almost sold a job where we were going to crane the grinder over a fence with the Grove 60 ton.

Dedicated stump grinder vs skid steer with grinder attachment? Pros and Cons?

So I've been looking into getting a larger stump grinder and was also interested in a skid steer. Is there any disadvantages to going the skid steer route? I see skid steers being sold on auction all the time for reasonable prices. I know the attachments are pricey as well but I feel a skid...

    Official Random Fact/Random Thought Thread!

Most popular surnames around the world... I have a question for @stig or anyone else that may know... How exactly do names work in Iceland? "Jónsdóttir" caught my attention. I have a vague understanding of how it works, but never gave it a lot of thought. I'm thinking "Does that mean there's...

I've heard them called Bear Traps. If a bear were to rub its back on one, it could dislodge the top.
