I have a 6foot 2-man cross-cut here, had to get a new handle turned up by a chap with a pole-lathe thanks to woodworm. This thread has given me a bright idea for the next time Tim (Blue) turns up.

The biggest oak was the butt he felled at the end of the video, had to extend the flip line as it was too short to reach around, infact 2 fliplines were just long enough. It would have felled without climbing except they had some young trees planted that had to be saved.

Just replaced my old Camelbak 70oz with a new one. The sealing ring at the opening had failed, and the cap split, and it seems small spares are hard to come by in the UK. I couldnt even replace the bladder as (apparently) Camelbak are slow to produce replacements. So I bought a new Sabre 70oz...
