Using a throw bag in the tree

I remember Moss's foot slingshot being quite innovative. Time flies. Burnham, if you're feeling less than olympic caliber a powered ascender soothes the day nicely.

I realize lately that I have used it far more for rec climbs than I ever have for work.
And it got more use out West than back East, except for elms and other spreading trees out here.
Seems there is more time for transfers tree-to-tree, and such when hanging out having fun.
The spring in my automatic fly reel broke just last week. I'll have to crack it open and see if I can re-form the end, which I would think is what failed.

I changed from Quickie to steel biner on my climb line yesterday. Advancing the rope directly can be done with a heavy enough termination link, as I mentioned before.

You can clip any weight bag onto you termination biner, if you need more, especially with a lighter rope.
