US Spec MS460 - Parts advice..

Hi there,

Sorry my first post for ages is a request, but I need a new cylinder and piston for a US Spec MS460.

Can any of you guys advise the best place to get them??, Or are the totally the same as the UK version, even so I guess it pays to shop around for prices??

You are pretty much stuck with buying Stihl parts from a Stihl dealer .The way Stihl sets their franchises up they can't legally sell over the internet .

There are a certain amount of aftermarket parts available but most are OEM .

Genuine Stihl parts are only available through your local dealer, but there are some aftermarket sources. They won't be 100% as good as Stihl parts but you can get them much cheaper. Check out this thread for an example:
