The Official Work Pictures Thread

Cory, no I have no asperations of a different crane, this one is Very well suited to my needs. Sometimes I wish I had more stick but the fact that mine is 4 wheel drive etc more than makes up for that.

Right now I really don't want any other equipment, I find it hard to believe Brutus can be beat. My trucks are all old but very reliable.

For the first time ever we are trying to put money towards retirement, playing catch-up.

Outrigger placement can be crazy sometimes. I like the sandbags. I normally carry an assortment of cribbing on my truck. The new truck isn't as critical since it's smaller, only need a couple 4x6 and some 2x8 so far. Mostly to pad around curbs.

Only two outriggers isn't very involved, since you need the tires on the ground to help. Basically all you can do is try to level it off side to side.

I'll never forget the day a bucket operator set an outrigger down on the groundie's foot, like what happened to Jerry.

That poor fugger. :(

They can get to be a chore if you have to pack them around some distance, but with a crane you can move them around in bulk in a net or something.

Finally after a month and a half of legal bs this tree came down today. Funny thing is we were all clear to go and when I had it down to a six foot stub a cease and desist order showed up. Oh well. Packed up and went on to some nasty widow makers. Wish I would've got pics of the one. Used the KK to lift the top of a broken ash out of a walnut. Just made me want a GRCS even more.

Rich, sounds like that job was a nightmare. Glad you (mostly) got it all wrapped up.

Yesterday I promised pics of today's job. Forgot my camera but my friend Chris was on the job and took pics for me with his phone. I'm hoping to get him to join up, he's a hell of a climber and I think he'd be a good fit here.

Damnit, I'm sick and tired of this damn picture uploader rotating all my pictures! They are correct in my email, they are correct on my desktop but they are rotated here!

Yup thanks for that tip Jay, nobody over here seems to use them, I love them.

Ive never seen them here before, nice! So they were good for filling that hole that wasn't wide enough for a timber, right?

Lordy Brian, those are big azz pieces hanging from a bucket!!

All these great bucket pics and all I have is some dead oak hinge porn
That I had to add twice :?
