La lobata wins! It's a Valley oak.

Evan climbed it and I stressed it out on the ground.
High wires suck all the way around. Anyway. it worked out. We have a great crew.

Have you guys seen Blue oaks get that big? We have the last 500 acre stand of Bayside blue oaks about 30 miles north here.
 
Valley oak Sunday

Did some weight reduction on this big valley oak today, lots of branches were to heavy and snapping...flush cut the snaped ones and deadwood

Got a good TIP, SRTed it with redirects and my 36ft lanyard but was still a challenge getting out there

Going back in the fall to clean it up more when leaves are off and 3 other oaks on there property
