The Official Work Pictures Thread

I'm throwing no stones, I promise. M and I rented and then bought our 5 acres with an ancient 35-foot mobile home on it and lived in that hovel happily for 9 years before we could afford to build a small house. It was a roof over our heads; cheap, and that was the only way we could have swung buying what has now been our home place for 46 years.

Didn’t measure but probably minimum 100’….

They are a super light wood, can barber chair, even peel out w kerf cuts…. Super heavy headed.
There is a push by Albizzia Project to use the wood for use…. They are huge and super invasive.

Monkey pod is a whole different tree.

Your friend is both smart and wise. I haven't even started a chainsaw to do a little carb adjustment or such without chaps or saw pants on in about 45 years. I'm that convinced that even the best of us can have a bad moment, and with a spinning saw chain a moment is all it takes to cause serious damage.

I will admit that seeing in person a couple of chainsaw cuts co-workers gave themselves in my early days as sawyer, was enough to scare me into this point of view. We have all seen close calls, I am sure. My USFS training clearly reinforced my actions in this.

So true Burn.

The other day I twisted my ankle in the rough and had to take a knee unexpectedly w the saw in hand….
Haha slow motion lay across the bar… lol…. I couldn’t stop laughing wondering how many people have cut their own neck.
So yeah. I don’t go out wo saw pants on.

I wear chaps. I do too many different things all the time for pants. Sometimes it’s very hot. Shorts and chaps. Chaps come off when the saw shuts off.

Considering clogger jeans…
