The Official Work Pictures Thread

I bought a Hooeyman(compact, telescopic, short blade, heavy...on sale), then later, used from a guy leaving town a lightweight Silky Zubat and a longer Stihl pole saw after rarely using pole saws beyond chainsaws.

I've used a fiberglass pole with hook for deadwood.

Alder tops are the best use I've found for them where nothing else is possible.

I can cut them partially, then pull and direct the branches somewhat into the drop zone.

BMG rake for the win. It is essential for us at this time of the year and we use it on every single job to clear the snow. Unfortunately, it also means it is mat season. Welcome to the to the time of the year where the work takes twice as long to do.

I’ve been thinking about making another BMG rake but out of an old mini track instead of the brush for snow removal.

That sounds really interesting. I would curious to see what that looks like and how it works.
I have a BMG rake that the bristles all rusted off so I want to use that old carrier to hold the track section. Easy on easy off save the bristles for turf clean up not snow pushing. I built a plow for the mini but that’s too big for daily use on a job. And the rake carrier is fairly small and doesn’t take up much space in the trailer.
