It's been going. Not much use out of it this summer and fall.

Lots of pruning, no clean-up.

Ready when needed...8xx hours on it, 11 years old.

The two leaning towards the wall are dying off.


Serveral horizontal limbs would have needed hands or rope on the branch to keep it off the retaining wall

.

A sizwheel and double- hinge in the tension wood also steered lines better than a standard face...again skipping rigging.



It's surprising how the right cut and final release timing can swing maple and alder limbs 180⁰ to their original position without rigging. This limb hung right over the wall.

Heavy hauling of a roadside,dead tree's trunk from the HOA. I 'hid' the bit of brush in the edge of the greenbelt. The trunk wood would have shown.


A dead willow, I think. Idk the fungus. Anyone?

That looks a lot like an EAB kill. I don’t miss ash removals one bit.

Green and healthy: it hinges pretty well for swinging limbs. Dead or dying: not so much, they can be brittle or punky. For swinging limbs away from targets I’d use a pull line or even a polesaw to push or pull in the right direction.
