The Official Work Pictures Thread

I like how you laid the tops out

Little fella we worked on yesterday. Started lining all the brush across the creek to the road off a steep hill. Estimating a tad over 150 feet tall. Leans toward the little horse barn the HO keeps stuff in and is within crushing distance. You can see the lads setting my line off to the side of it in one of the pictures.
All the wind shading up on top of the hill is being lost due to removal because of the beetles. Big ones just blow over.
I'll take the top after some more lining out after we clean up the ground. Then bomb some logs for the excavator to remove.
Fodder...

Yup. Tad windy and she had some lean to her, but otherwise, comforting by comparison. some of those limbs are 8" + dia. damn near that way to the top. Had to put a few on pulleys so I did not burn up rope.

This thread is something else, good on you guys for constantly contributing!

Here's a few from this week, it was some kind of miracle how this piece landed just right in the drop zone:\:

Awesome! A pretty quick trip but let me know if you get a free minute, I'll drive down and buy you a beer.

Sorry, my first attempt at this was off the old Ipod, hence all sideways.

Stephen, the scale of those trees is just mind blowing. It's like you operate on a different planet. Awesome. Just awesome.

And I'm still working on making a presentable hinge with my goddamn 880. Close, but I'm not there yet. .404 is just a little more aggressive and I tend to nip the far side. No excuse.

Nice pictures Sam. Hope you like the Teufelberger. Tough stuff. Finally wore out that 1/2" line but still abusing the 9/16ths here
Love the kit you are putting togther

I really enjoy that rope. I had a little 14 foot section that I had to cut off from a saw nick. . . we used that to pull with equipment, to pull vehicles, to choke piles of brush, as a tow bridal on a work boat. . . It was still putting in work when I lost it in a swamp. Anyways, good stuff for sure.

Here's the video in case anyone is bored. Nothing special, but I did get to use my spikes SRT, which is always so coo. :)

Had an emergency come through the website last night, client worried their tree was going to split into the street and hurt someone. Told them I'd be out first thing to mitigate the hazard.... Hazard mitigated, disaster averted....
