Cool pics Jay!

5 cottonwood fed to the greenbelt.

Largest one's spar sticking over the top of the roof to the left, mixed with foreground vegetation. Three to go behind the other house on the right, seen over the point of the garage roof. . IMG_20151106_125044908_HDR[1].jpg

Thanks on the Husky, Ben. Way more powerful than a 262. No wonder the bar length, it seemed like it would be pushing the 262. It must be a nice saw.

Another nasty done clammy hands did happen and even elevated heart rate.

Bid machine doing it.

With the beetle infestation, running into more and more of these situations around old creepy vacation homes. Long and spindly dead Pines that people want removed, and with no budget for a crane and often no place to fall them. Haven't wrecked anything yet besides once. Very poorly maintained woods.

Is there much decay in the butts of those things when you get them down Jay?

I'm thinking, creative SRT overheads from other trees. Yes/No?

Nasty dog leg over the house. I'd say it's not your problem they haven't budgeted, bid it for what it takes, you might be surprised.

I agree...bid it high enough to do it safely. Looks like there is going to be some very dead and dangerous trees...lots of chances for creative rigging I bet.

I agree with Willie on this. I now have to personally go out to any dead ash removal bids to assess if they are safe to climb. If I deem them unsafe, other options are made$$$$. I actually advised one customer to go with Davey's price. Told them we couldn't beat it. Maybe they caught something I didn't.
