I drove a 5 ton bobcat over a suspension bridge once. Not that long, but it was really weird. When you drive off the abutment you drop down a foot and all of the slack moves to the other side of the bridge. As you near the midpoint, you have to "climb" up on the slack, and as you go over center, it all moves behind you, and you drop down again. Not fun in an enclosed cab and you are claustrophobic.
