I saw the fireball that landed in 2001 in PA. I was riding my 4 wheeler. It looked big enough that you could have heard it and I guess you could. It broke windows in PA.
I remember my dad waking me up late at night back around '66 to go outside and see a meteor shower. It was pretty unbelievable -hundreds of them shooting across the sky. Never seen anything like that ever again.
