Shoulda' gone BIGGER

A crane removal isn't that hard.......just intimidating till you do a few. Just think sawinredneck......it could place you wherever you want. Bulk or not:D

It would have been nice on that little Elm, climb it once, set the chockers and tie to the crane. Climb down and take th whole tree off at the stump:lol:
 
None of the crane companies here allow it. I've flown once way back when, and I've tied off to the hook once (about 20' off the ground).

Later that day I got to fly, I had to hump the 120' up the pine to set the first sling. That was a bitch.

They say that either OSHA/owner/insurance doesn't allow it.

There's only been 3 jobs where my lift helped on the job.

I thought OSHA made the revision so it is OK......sometimg at the buzz, but can't remeber.
 
What OSHA allows and what the crane companies believe to be allowed by their insurance are two completely different things. :(
