Removing large chunks off main trunk

Seems as if I remember a tool or type of jack that slides large trunk pcs off standing trunks or spar. Anyone have any info on this item and where to purchase it? thanks

I don't recall the name but I believe it's Reg's design so probably made by Stein.

3/8ths dowel rod works pretty good too.. The DK slider is available WesSpur I believe.
I think you may be right about Reg's block jack devise.

Kee-rhist I'm glad those groundies didn't kill Reg, a few of those cuts looked scary, they didn't let the pc run much. Those pcs could be easily put on ground in one shot imo.

Always found a small felling lever coupled with a plastic wedge on the harness to be adequate.

Those were pretty big lumps in the vid though.
