Realised I haven't put any pics of this up, so here goes.

Bought the truck 6 years ago, been using it for shifting timber, but the plan has always been to put a side tipping chip box on with removable sides to make it a dual purpose vehicle. Finally managed to source a donor body with the 3 stage ram and ball fittings, ended up pretty much scrapping the whole thing and starting from scratch. Paid less for the whole body than the cost of a new ram on its own though, so still a winner.

Not quite finished the build yet, but got to the stage where i needed to take it to work and earn some money before I can finish it properly.

Is that a 7.5 tonner Pete? If so with the grab what can you carry "legally!"
Nice truck BTW
Edit, after a closer inspection it looks a lot bigger, give us the numbers anyway:lol:

18 tonne gross, 9ish tonne payload. I will weigh it when it's all done and get a precise figure.

Good looking iron you are building her out of!

What happened to the rest of the hood on yer truck? ( he says in his best American accent):P

Couldn't run a truck with a big hood over here, there just isn't the room. My whole truck from nose to tail is under 20' long, and that's with a 20 yard box on.....

I have run some cab over trucks in my day. I like them, only problem over here is that a cabover is like familiar relations with one's cousin. Kinda nice till someone see's you.................:)

Looks like it is going to be a wonderful rig. I admire your initiative in taking on such a project!

Nice looking build. Could you post a couple pictures of how you set up the dump cylinder and hinge?
