Most efficient webbing knot?

Not sure if this should go here or the climbing section. I picked up a 20ft price of tubular webbing to make some slings and other cheap items. I made a few with the Beer Knot and was wondering wondering what is the strongest webbing knot?

Water knot afaik is excellent

I did one with the water knot, the beer knot is much cleaner and supposed to be stronger? Those two knots are what I find when searching, but curious if someone has any strength testing data. Not quite mastered the wife's industrial sewing machine yet. I feel way more comfortable with a knot than anything I have sewn yet.

beer knot will work just fine.

If its called the beer not it can't be bad Pretty sure that's your "go to" knot for webbing

Beer knot is the best choice, though the water knot works just as well, just as strong, just not as clean.

I was taught the Water knot fine by Ski Patrol ... (Still dislike Knotting webbing) confession: I have hung from and rigged off web gear w water knots , still here posting.

As have I. There is no appreciable difference in strength between the two, in my opinion.

A beer knot is more a knot of opportunity IMO an end has to be open first.
