Morbark Grinder

Hey guys just wondering if anyone has experience with morbark grinders. We are looking to upgrade from our carlton 4012 and found this one. We are getting a demo on the machine next week and was just seeing if there is anything to look for on these machines. The pros and cons of it. Thanks for any help.

I like my Morbark Chipper but have never seen anyone with one of their grinders. One of the things that they do with the chipper that I don't like is to isolate things from vibration very well. Check those side panels to make sure they haven't broken the little pieces on the bottom that help them hold fast.

Thankfully, it has a leonardi wheel, and not the British designed grinding wheel. Its terrible. Otherwise, I much prefer the carlton grinders.

Sandvick? they're Swedish I think. But their grinding wheel is the New River design, most excellent.

Had the demo, it went alright. I really was not that impressed by it to tell you the truth. I am going to demo a carlton 7015 in the next couple weeks. thanks for the input guys.
