The peppered smoked bacon I like costs $4 a pound. By the time it's cooked down and rendered in the fry pan it's only about a quarter of a pound.

I think cheeze whizz is addictive, but like 'plastic cheese', the kraft slices or whatever, I dont think its that good for you in the long run. We might get a jar a couple times a year, takes a couple weeks to down it.

as for bacon, we just had a treat, two slices each, 50% low sodium, one egg and a piece of 'ancient grains' toast with a smidge of butter. I LOVE bacon.

There's always too much of a good thing. I'd been known to fry up a pound or two of bacon as a snack.

In the end, such activities damn near killed me.

I used to cook bacon at cookouts at my grandmothers instead of hot dogs and hamburgs. MMMM bacon.
